1 – Northumberland Vikings – NFC 1 North (Up 2)
A statement win for the Vikings as they beat the East Kilbride Pirates 24-7 in their own house. Taking an early lead they would never relinquish, the Vikings now have a more impressive win than Leicester under their belt and take pole position in the Division 1 power rankings.
2 – Leicester Falcons – NFC 1 South (Down 1)
The first time the Falcons haven’t been at number one this season and really though no fault of their own. Their result against the Caesars wasn’t as convincing as you’d expect but a win on the road none the less.
3 – East Kilbride Pirates – NFC 1 North (Down 1)
Pirates losing at home to Northumberland for the second time in as many seasons puts them down a place this week. They will have to hope the Rams can do them a solid and beat them later in the season.
4 – Yorkshire Rams – NFC 1 North (Non-Mover)
An easy win for the Rams against the Wolverines sees them retain their number 4 spot this week.
5 – Chester Romans – NFC 1 South (Non-Mover)
An easy home win for the Romans over the Spartans this week keeps them at 5.
6 – Cambridgeshire Cats – SFC 1 East (Up 1)
No game this week but the Cheetahs loss allows them to jump them.
7 – Hertfordshire Cheetahs – SFC 1 West (Down 1)
We have said numerous times that the Cheetahs lack of offense would come back to haunt them, and it finally does. Their loss at home to Rushmoor drops them down a spot.
8 – London Hornets – SFC 1 East (Non-Mover)
A win on the road for the hornets this week away to Sussex wasn’t hugely convincing but a wins enough to keep them at 8.
9 – Rushmoor Knights – SFC 1 West (Up 1)
The Knights beat the Cheetahs which will do great things for their playoff chances. They jump back up a spot.
10 – Nottingham Caesars – NFC 1 South (New Entry)
They lose a game to Leicester, but they ran them closer than most teams this year. If they start to make a run at it they will challenge the Romans for that second playoff spot.
