Week 12 is officially in the books and unfortunately it took a turn back to the early weeks, with games postponed left right and centre. However, with a reduced slate this week there were still some things to learn. So, let’s get cracking.

Romans give Titans Closest game of the year

The Romans and Titans have both been impressive this year. And that run has continued for both teams. Its almost no surprise to see the Romans give the Titans their closest game this year given how much the stepped up against the Nighthawks. Watch out Division 1, the Romans are coming for it all in 2022.

Bobcats Beat Knights Back-to-Back

After Losing their first matchup against Rushmoor then turning it round for a comfortable win against them in the second meeting you could be forgiven for not knowing what direction the 3rd matchup would take. It was a much closer affair this time round, but the Bobcats ran out 12-3 Winners, showing they are the 2nd best team in the division.

Aztecs Shut Out South Wales

It’s a game they were expected to win, and they did just that running out 36-0 winners, while it may be seen as “unconvincing” its another solid win with a shutout on Defence and there’s not much more they can do than that.

Squadron Squeak the Sabres

the South East Squadron went 2-1 with again against the Sabres. The season started so well for the East Essex side but seemed to have become….. Toothless. A strong win for the Southeast Pum…. Squadron.

Hertfordshire Hunt Down Wembley

With their 21-9 win over Win over the London Blitz the Cheetahs now move to 6-1 with their only defeat coming at the Hands of the Wembley Stallions. They now know that their destiny is in their own hands and a tie against the Stallions would be enough for the Division Crown. Something tells me however the Cheetahs will not be going for the Draw.

Britballs Lowest Score equalled

Unless someone finds a way to deduct points then the Lowest score will never be broken, it can however be matched as the Blackhawks and Stags played out a 0-0. Admittedly the game was more entertaining than the score line suggests.

Devils Raise Hell on Cardinals

Well, talk about game of the week falling flat on its face. I never imagined it missing by such a huge margin. How the Hell (See what I did there) do you go from 21-20 loss to a 63-0 win. That’s a 64-point swing, which must be one of the largest in season swings surely ever. Honestly, I don’t get it and i’ll accept answers on a postcard because I am baffled. Anyway, it’s a huge win for Norwich who now own the head-to-head, by a long way.
